Adam Wheeler, MD, FAAP
Education and Special Interests
Dr. Wheeler has a special interest in general pediatrics, mental health, medical weight loss, and healthcare reform. He is a gifted speaker and teacher, recognized for his outstanding contributions. In 2021, Dr. Wheeler won Columbia, Missouri’s Entrepreneur of the Year award, and in 2019, he received the University of Missouri’s Best Young Physician award. He completed his medical school and residency at the University of Missouri.
Personal Interests
In his spare time, Dr. Wheeler enjoys fly fishing. His hometown is Bolivar, Missouri. If he weren’t in the medical field, he would pursue a career in finance or economics. He is also a proud dad.
